Catalogue Note

The present lot is an exclusive occasion for a Patek Philippe collector to acquire a possibly unique piece that was made to order in the late 70’s. In fact the original owner of this watch asked Patek Philippe to place a 5.16 cts diamond on the watch in place of the usual crystal glass. This very special and eccentric order has a unique reference number which is mentioned on the certificate of origin as well as on the extract from the archives.
