Please note that the movement has not been checked for timekeeping accuracy and Sotheby's will not be held responsible for any repairs should they be require. The movement and chronograph are working at the time of cataloguing. The functions are also advancing properly. Dial in excellent condition. Case in good condition, bezel with noticeable scratches at 2 o'clock to the bezel. Bracelet with light scuffs from wear. Overall in very good condition.

Catalogue Note

In 1993, Audemars Piquet claimed they were ‘daring to go offshore’ with the Royal Oak Offshore model from this most famous of brands. The experiment has proven successful, because in 2014, the Royal Oak Offshore remains in production, albeit with updated features.
