Catalogue Note

This extremely rare watch, with its so-called ‘California Dial’, was made in a limited edition of only 12 pieces and pays tribute to the classic and legendary Radiomir. The first Radiomir watch was developed in 1936 and was officially in production in 1938. It was the first professional diving watch in Panerai history. Specially designed for the Italian naval commandos, the model played an important role in various major military missions. The original Radiomir watches have become some of the most coveted of all vintage watches, setting record prices at auction and have helped to ensure Panerai’s popularity throughout the world.
