• bell striking and trip repeating movement with inverted arch plates, tandem drive to both trains from a single spring barrel wound from an arbor at the front concealed by the bezel, anchor escapement with silk suspension, the backplate mounted with two pendulum locking devices • 4 3/4-inch enamel dial, the hour hand jumping forward at half-hour intervals • rectangular case with sliding back, surmounted by a bust of Apollo • dial and movement signed

Movement in overall good condition but will require a full service soon to be fully operational. Case is in overall good condition with a very even patina. Enamel dial with 2 very small chips above 1 on the edge, overall in good condition. This is a very interesting clock from the period with a finely crafted bronze sculpture of Apollon on the top.
