Condition

Original canvas. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt and there are a few stains in places. There are minor abrasions along all four edges and a few areas of paint loss to the upper and lower right corners and the right edge. There are further some flecks of paint loss to the area of impasto upper right. There are cracks in places. Inspection under UV light shows some retouching along the edges and to the edge of the area of impasto upper right. Held in a gold and black painted wooden frame with canvas slip. Unexamined out of frame.
