Suspending two emerald beads measuring approximately 13.7 by 8.1 by 15.4 mm and 13.4 by 9.9 by 15.1 mm, topped by bow motifs set with old European, rose and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.05 carats.
Condition
In good condition with some light scratching and evidence of tarnish to the silver and gold throughout. The emerald beads are a nicely saturated medium-deep slightly bluish green, moderately to heavily included with some surface-reaching inclusions, cavities and chips due to wear. The emerald beads weigh approximately 34.00-38.00 carats.The diamonds are approximately H-J color, predominantly VS-SI clarity. Originally part of a 19th century brooch, modified later to become earrings. Length approximately 1 3/8 inches. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 61822 A and B stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: traditional.
