The necklace set with numerous single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 13.50 carats, suspending a pendant centering a cabochon emerald measuring approximately 18.0 by 15.7 by 14.0 mm, length 14½ inches, with French assay marks, one diamond missing; circa 1925.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald is a medium-light very slightly bluish green, slightly more green in color and less blue than illustrated in the printed catalogue. The stone is heavily included as is typical of the material. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI clarity examples. The emerald pendant is detachable and likely to be later added. The reverse shows evidence of soldered repairs to some of the links. Fitted with a safety clasp.
