Description
- Van Cleef & Arpels
- gold, ruby, diamond
Set with numerous buff-top mystery-set rubies, flanked by square and trapeze-cut diamonds weighing approximately .25 carat, size 5, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 48460, with French assay and maker's marks. With signed box.
Condition
In good condition with some light scratching to the gold, commensurate with wear. The rubies range from medium to medium-deep pinkish red, moderately included with some surface-reaching inclusions and chipping visible under close inspection; there is one larger chip at the edge of one of the rubies, not threatening the durability of the stone. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VS clarity. Signed and numbered on the inner shank.
