Centering a cushion-cut emerald weighing 22.71 carats, accented by two pearls measuring approximately 10.8 by 11.6 mm and 7.7 mm, further set with numerous old European and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 7.50 carats.
Condition
In good condition with some evidence of discoloration to the mounting. The emerald is a lively medium-deep slightly bluish green, moderately included with some surface-reaching inclusions and chipping near the girdle visible under close inspection. The pearls have a creamy white body color with soft rose and green overtones, good luster and minor to moderate blemishing in the form of pitting, ringing and wrinkled skins, not evident when worn. The diamonds are approximately H-J color, predominantly VS-SI clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 38582 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: moderate, type: oil. Please note the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
