Centered by an oval-shaped star ruby weighing 13.40 carats, framed by baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.70 carats, size 5½, fitted with inner sizing band.

In good condition with light scratching to the mounting. The translucent to semi-translucent star ruby is medium-deep purplish pink and moderately included. At the apex, there is a noticeable surface-reaching inclusion of orangy-red color. The legs are wavy and the ruby displays poor to moderate asterism. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Fitted with an inner sizing band. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 58442 stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
