Comprising an evening bag, compact, lipstick holder and atomizer of gold basketweave design, the evening bag set at the front with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats, the compact and evening bag both fitted with mirrors, total gross weight approximately 326 dwts, the evening bag signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Made in France, numbered NY 35145, the compact signed Van Cleef & Arpels NY, numbered 8V3-22, the lipstick holder signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered NY 15V13-54, the atomizer signed VC&A, numbered NY 29V6-21; circa 1960. The evening bag and compact with signed suede pouches.
Condition
All pieces in good condition overall, with some minor denting to the handbag and compact. Some minor scratching and discoloration to the mirrors in the bag and compact. The bag measures approximately 6 by 3¼ by 1¼ inches, the compact approximately 3 by 3 by ½ inches, the lipstick holder approximately 2 1/8 by 5/8 inches and the atomizer approximately 2¼ by 5/8 inches. The diamonds in the bag are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. Atomizer and lipstick holder currently empty. Compact still holds some rouge and a powder puff.
