Condition
The set of chairs is in good condition; the chairs are sturdy and with minor thin age cracks to back rests; extensive wear to feet; the chairs have a nice surface and with nice figuring to the mahogany overall.
Armchair 'I' with small chips and wear to gadrooned molding above front legs; front right foot with a large chip; back legs with heavy wear to edges of feet.
Armchair 'II' with small chips/wear to gadrooned molding to top of front leg; the gadrooned molding to top of front right leg have been off and reattached upside-down; the front left foot with a large chip.
Side chair 'I' with loss to gadrooned molding to front of front right leg; chips to left gadrooned molding.
Side chair 'II' with small chips to gadrooning and to feet; left gadrooned molding to left leg slightly loose.
Side chair 'III' with small chips to corners of gadrooned moldings to tops of legs; heavy wear to feet.
Side chair 'IIII' with loss to gadrooned molding to front of front right leg; chips to left gadrooned molding; old repaired breaks to backrest.
Side chair 'V' (?) has the seat screwed into the rails; small loss to right side of gadrooned molding to top of right leg; wear to gadrooned moldings; feet with scuffs and wear.
Side chair 'VI' with small loss to right side of gadrooned molding to top of right leg; chips to gadrooned moldings; feet with scuffs and wear.
The reproduction chairs all are sturdy and in good condition and all have small chips and wear to the gadrooned moldings to tops of front legs and with some wear to the edges of legs and feet.
