Condition
Overall fair condition; with old restorations including gold paint to brass mounts; the metal backsplash with some dents and slightly bent at center; the gilded metal is very dirty and would benefit from being cleaned; the top with a large deep chip to left front edge approximately 2-inches in length and 1/4 inch deep; the top with some stains, scratches and marks; mahogany with a dry surface overall and with nice figuring; Molded edge running beneath top with loss to back left corner approximately 5 inches in length; frieze with chips to veneer at the back left corner; front left corner, above front right leg; the back right leg with loss to the top molding; back legs with later bolts which attach them to the back rail; plinths with usual nicks and wear; piece is sturdy and with a nice dark color to mahogany; would benefit from sympathetic restoration.
