Condition

Pile generally low two-knot heads and spot foundation overall. A few scattered areas with slightly higher pile. Some scattered repiling, not extensive. Oxidized dark browns. 3 in x 1 in hardened stain near central quatrefoil medallion.5in x 3in. reweave in lower end border, a few smaller reweaves in the same area. Another small reweave in lower end of field. Sides missing outer guard stripes, now resalvaged. both ends with minor partial outer guardborders with some minor slits, now secured with blanket stitch. Sound fabric, design still reads well despite the wear. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
