Condition
Oil on panel. There are horizontal panel cracks (with dull overpaint) in the lower left and right corners; extending from the center of the left edge to below the letter "B"; and from the upper left edge extending into the curtain. There is lifting and flaking in the lower left quadrant. Thick craquelure in the letter "B" has been overpainted. Under UV light: there is a green fluorescing varnish, though strengthening to the blacks is visible as is the previously mentioned inpainting.
