Condition
Overall both pieces in good restored condition; ready for use. Refinished. Commode: Later marble top with minor chips to edges. Some small patches, largest being about 4 inches in length and to the bottom of the middle drawer. Some small minor age cracks; some with infill. Top drawer lacking dividers of interior. Drawers possibly lacking mounts, drawer pulls and corner mounts later. One foot with loose mount.
Secretaire: Later marble with some small chips to edges. Age cracks to sides and drawer fronts, many with infill. Later leather lining with scratches, scuffs, and creases. Molding to bottom of top drawer edge is slightly loose. Two interior drawers with detached drawer pulls. Ormolu drawer pulls and corner mounts of exterior later, other mounts with some oxidation and surface dirt.
