Condition

Legs and stretcher later. Bun feet later. Molding to top now possibly lacking a metal encasement; ebony and inlay with age and construction cracks consistent with use and age; marquetry with various small patches and restorations. Top with hinges replaced. Locks replaced. Patches at keyholes to drawer fronts where there were probably once mounts or escutcheons. Marquetry and veneer to drawers with age cracks, some small patches, and minor buckling. Gilding to legs with some losses, chips to gesso, and rubbing.
