Condition

Top later; inset marble with a large crack to right front corner with subsequent losses and chips; some other minor chips to edges of marble top. Back apron later suggesting it was originally a console table. Gesso with cracks, chips, and abrasions throughout. Re-gilt and repainted. Decoration now with some cracks, lifting, rubbing, and surface dirt. Underside with some old worm damage; scattered age and construction cracks throughout.
