Rectangular top inset with a leather lining with reentrant corners above a conforming frieze fitted to one side with three frieze drawers, the central drawer fitted with a sliding baize surface fitted with a hinged book support, flanked by a deep drawer and a short drawer, opposed by a short drawer and two dummy drawers, above a pair of pedestals each fitted with a paneled door each opening to a bank of three drawers, raised on a plinth.
