Condition

Overall good condition; please note that the chimneypiece is in numerous pieces and requires professional assembly. The central tablet is beautifully carved with exquisite undercutting and with some minor chips to the extremities and of the main flower in the center; the Ionic capitals are very well carved; the columns are solid as is the mantel itself; there are a number of small chips and were to the edges of this piece and some old repaired breaks to some of the uprights - one of the horizontal white elements is cracked as can be seen in the catalogue illustration.
