Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The tables are a rare work by the artist from his own collection. The table tops, as seen in the catalogue illustration, presents with gentle surface scratches and show very sensitive care. The edges of the tables with losses to the lacquer the largest measuring four inches in length. The losses are localized to the edges and do not interrupt the decorative scheme of the top. These losses could be easily restored or stabilized by a professional restorer. The legs of each table with surface discoloration, oxidation and surface residue as seen in the catalogue illustration. This is all original and consistent with age and use. A wonderfully rare and intricately detailed pair of tables by the designer.
