Condition

Good overall condition. One side of the screen presents with a city landscape, as seen on lot illustration, the other with decoration of leaves and leaves and aquamarine animals, as seen in the detail p.158 of the catalogue. Some minor surface scratches over the entire surface and minor dirt, consistent with age and use. Some minor edges abrasions, minor chips and losses to the painting, concentrated to the edges. Some minor surface restorations, mostly concentrated on the edges of the panel and on the white side, and not distracting to the decoration. This screen is presently lacking castors. A beautiful screen that epitomizes Fornasetti's decorative motifs.
