Condition
Overall in very good condition. This daybed has been recently professionally cleaned and waxed. This work represents a portion of a larger collection of Robsjohn-Gibbings furniture on offer in this auction that was acquired in the 1960s by Gustav Tassell. The frame of the daybed in very good condition showing expected minor surface scratches, abrasions and minor isolated areas of discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The cushion has been recently re-upholstered in a white muslin and therefore shows only very minor surface dirt. Another rare form by the artist, showing wonderful sculpturally details throughout the frame.
