Condition
Please note this piece is executed completed in marble. Overall in very good condition. These works represent a portion of a larger collection of Robsjohn-Gibbings furniture on offer in this auction that was acquired in the 1960s by Gustav Tassell. This table is presently lacking a component to the underside which would stabilize and attached the top and legs. For the purposes of the exhibition, a temporary plywood brace has been added. The marble throhgout with a deep rich hue displaying evidence of gentle use. The top surface with minor surface scratches, abrasions and surface dirt to the recessed portions of the design. There is one concentrated area of surface scratches that make a square shape to the central portion of the top, measuring 6 x 6 inches and approximately an inch wide. A wonderful and rare design by Robsjohn-Gibbings to appear on the market.
