Overall very good condition. The alabaster panels with wonderful nuances to the veining throuhout. The alabaster panels present with inherent irregularities consistent with material. The abalster present with light surface scratches and minor oxidation consistent with age and gentle use and concentrated to the lower portion next to the metal. A few minor edge nicks, paint residues and surface dirt. Approximaltey four panels present with circular opaque discolorations caused by the panel being too close to the lighting agent. One center panel, as seen in the catalogue illustration with a sensitively restored crack at the midpoint. The alabaster panels are well matched and are numbered to the bottom. The patinated bronze portion of the design with a delicate surface treatment that adds some naturalism to the design. Bronze elements with minor surface scratches, light surfaces dirt to the design and house paint to the portions adjacent to the wall. One of the sconces with a minor patina loss measuring approximately ¼ inch between the two central feathers, as seen in the catalogue illustration on the sconce illustrated on the right of the page. A wonderful design, dislplaying craftmanship of the artist and typic of his decorative subjects.
