Condition
Overall very good condition. The vases look greener in person than it appears in the catalogue illustration. The surface of the glass is painted with grey and brown decoration throughout, which adds a wonderful decorative depth. The glass is dichroic and appears with a greener hue when illuminated from within. The glass in very good condition, with a few light scratches and minute abrasions, consistent with gentle use and age, concentrated around the applied wrought-iron decoration. With minute traces of paint on the body, just below the floral decoration. The wrought iron in good condition with minor traces of oxidation, light rubbing and minor scratches and show some traces of silvered patina. The recessed contours with light dirt. Two wonderful examples of the collaboration between Brandt and Daum.
