Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The presents strongly when viewed in person with deeply saturated colors to the iridescence and to the body of the vase. The glass presents with some minor airbubbles and particulate inclusion that are inherent in the making. There are more concentrated inherent few airbubbles to the black lower portion of the vase, as seen in the catalogue illustration. This portion of the vase presents with wonderful nuance to the coloration with vivid reds that do not appear in the catalogue illustration. With some minor surface dirt to the interior. A wonderful shape displaying an intricate decorative scheme throughout. A rare work by Hoffstatter to appear on the market.
