Condition

Very good overall original condition. The glass presents with a few scattered air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The vase with few minor scattered surface scratches. The violet glass presents with a few variations in color inherent to the making. One minute chip to the bottom edge of the base, measuring approximately 3/16 x 3/16 inches. Surface dirt to the recessed areas of the vase and to the interior, consistent with age and gentle use. A wonderful example of the collaboration between Josef Hoffmann and Lötz, of beautiful design and vibrant color.
