Condition

Very good overall condition. Some light surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and rubbing to finish, consistent with age and gentle use. Minor localized dirt in the recessed areas of the backrest. Some area of light discoloration, concentrated to the feet, visible on catalogue illustration. The top surface proper right lower stretcher with two minor stable cracks from use. There is an area of prior restoration to the stabilize the proper right top corner of the backrest along the diagonal seam. There is evidence of minor white discoloration localized adjacent to the openwork in this same area possibly the result subsequent restoration. This is not visible once the back cushion is in place. The armchair has been reupholstered with beige fabric which is in very good condition showing only very gentle wear. A wonderful deeply sculptural form.
