Condition
Overall in good condition. Each lamp base is handmade showing great depth to the glass with the gold inclusions throughout and contrasting hue of the edging. The glass bases each with minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions, inherent in the making. One of the bases with an area of prior restoration to the midsection of the standard to stabilize an area of loss. There are minor losses to the glass adjacent to the restoration leaving the area rough to the touch. One minor crack to one white glass edging elements to the upper portion of the same lamp. Light surface dirt on both lamps, consistent with age and gentle use. The shades are later and are well-proportioned to the bases. The shades with a few scattered minor surface abrasions and surface dirt from gentle use. Two very decorative table lamps with elegance and great scale.

IN CONTEXT
I was immediately taken by the unusual height of these exceptional lamps, which were purchased for the master bedroom at Uig Lodge. They worked perfectly with the scale of the house. Their beauty is evidenced in the elegant milky white ringlets and overall luminescence of the glass.
