Condition
Please note that the illustration for this lot that appears in the print catalogue is incorrect. The correct image of the chairs appears on Sothebys.com and will be available for viewing in the pre-auction exhibition. The sheepskin upholstery has recently been redone and is executed in a manner of the original upholstery by a local Scandinavian firm. Therefore the upholstery shows little sign of use. The wooden feet of the chairs with minor surface abrasions and light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. A wonderful pair of chairs designed with an attention to both comfort and deeply sculptural lines.
