Condition

Overall in very good condition. With a few minute particulate inclusions inherent in the making, and with a shallow linear fold line just below the top exterior rim, also inherent in the making. The exterior is beautifully iridized imparting the vase with strong luminosity and a range of brilliant hues. An extraordinary example from this rare decorated series displaying a particularly elegant form, a striking color palette, and extraordinary well-controlled decoration. When seen in person, this vase is far more sculptural and visually impactful than seen in the catalogue illustration, and the colors are more nuanced and lively. A superb example.
