Two of the “Tulip” shades with a few very small edge flecks along the top aperture rims, all very minor and concealed when the shades are installed. Another of the “Tulip” shades with a shallow edge chip measuring less than 1/8 inch in height and 1/2 inch in length, which is also concealed when the shade is installed. The central shade with a few small and minute air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The central shade is beautifully decorated and iridized, displaying strong luminosity and a range of brilliant hues. The shades with a few occasional light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The patinated bronze surfaces display an exceptionally deep and rich russet brown and green patina, with dynamic decorative elements throughout. The bronze surfaces with minimal surface wear and light rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. All of the patinated chains and spheres appear original, intact and undisturbed. The six outer socket elements around the perimeter of the chandelier appear original, but have been fitted with new interior socket mechanisms. The central socket appears to be replaced. All of the accompanying patinated bronze hardware, including the ceiling canopy, rod, and ring mount for the central shade are replaced. The chandelier presents beautifully with a strong sculptural and visual presence.
