Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 6 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, and with surface soiling to the recessed folds of the glass and to the perimeter contours of the glass tiles adjacent to the shade leading. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a rich dark green patina, with some occasional surface scratches, abrasions, gentle rubbing, and surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and use. The sockets and paddle switches appear to be from the period and undisturbed. With a rare and unusual period reticulated finial. The finial displays a closely corresponding patina to the base, showing light surface wear and rubbing to the perimeter contours and top knop. A particularly attractive example of this dynamic geometric model displaying a handsome shade and base pairing, and a strongly mottled glass selection which heightens the visual interest of the shade. The orange-green decorative band is effectively offset against the richly mottled green ground.
