Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 20 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a richly marbled brown and green patina, showing minimal surface wear, some occasional minor surface abrasions and light rubbing to the high points of the design consistent with age and gentle use. All three of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed, and the sockets retain their original bakelite insulators. With a replaced riser, wheel and finial; the finial displays a complementary patina to the base. A beautiful example of the model displaying a highly artistic and impressionistic early glass selection. The glass displays strong artistic nuances and vigorous mottling, imparting the shade with dynamic movement and visual interest. The color palette of the background glass is evocative of a sunset sky, with stunning hues of lavender and saturated orange-pink, framed by the upper and lower geometric bands in pale lavender.
