Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The vase with a few small and minor air bubbles that are inherent in the making. The outermost contours of the shoulder with a few small and light surface scratches, which are all consistent with age and gentle handling. The gilt rim with a few scattered light surface scratches. The gilt band at the midsection of the body with a few minor irregularities and burst air bubbles. One burst air bubble with the green ground, as seen to the left side of the body of vase in the catalogue illustration. With a small blue inclusion in the green ground just above one of the gold decorations. The exterior of the vase with wonderful iridization to the decoration imparting brilliant hues of blues, purples and greens over the surfaces. The interior of the collar with nice gold iridization.. The underbase with a few very small and light surface scratches commensurate with age and use. When viewed in person, the upper portion of the body with a more radiant off-white hue than what appears in the catalogue illustration.
