Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The tables each display a few small and minor surface scratches, abrasions and edge chips all consistent with age and gentle use. The slate tops on each of the tables with a few small surface scratches and one small isolated area of paint residue. Both of the tables in this lot present with wonderful detailing to the construction characteristic of PowellÂ’s design aesthetic. The inset ebony detailing demonstrates an attention to function as well as design and creates a wonderful cohesion across the wooden bases and slate tops. A very nice example of PowellÂ’s artistry that has been sensitively maintained.
