seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base with gently convex top, the hands folded above the lap, wearing a dhoti and a sash elegantly secured around his body, adorned with jewelry, the face and body with traces of cold gilding, the hair dressed into a high chignon and secured with further jewelry
Condition
The inlay and the vase held in the figure's hands are missing. There is a patch visible in the figure's back, but this appears to have been done during manufacture. There is wear to the cold-gilt on the face and body, and to the gilding on the rest of the figure, as well as age consistent wear. The base plate is a later replacement. Overall the figure is in good condition.
