carved with a central putto with a flower basket and scrolling foliage; redecorated, together with a Dutch Provincial red painted rolling child's chair,18th century

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Some miniscule chips and restorations to carving. Child’s chair: Vertical construction cracks at joints together with other scattered cracks commensurate with age and normal usage. The paint on the seat and the tray is distressed. The painting on the back of the seat and reverse is possibly later. There is a vertical crack down the rightside.
