- Italian school, 18th century
- Design for a decoration with the Holy family
- Pen and brown ink, arched top and partly cut along the design;
bears indistinct inscription, at the lower margin, in pen and brown ink - 305mm x 180mm, partly cut along the design
Condition
Holy Family: Lower left corner missing. Few tiny fox marks at the left margin. Pen and ink still strong. Sold in a gilded frame.
The Resurrection: laid down on another sheet of paper. Overall in good condition - medium is still fresh and strong. Tiny loss at upper right corner. (191 by 132 mm).
Maria Immaculata: Small brown stain in the lower left corner. part of the left margin has been folded over to the verso. Surface dirt and other light brown stains throughout. Pen and ink still strong. (195 by 85 mm).
Hercules: Scattered brown staining, more concentrated at the lower section of sheet. Chalk relatively strong and fresh. (207 by 95 mm)
