Description

the rectangular back surmounted by a neoclassical berried laurel draped urn flanked by acorn finials, the shaped back with a roundel centred by a patera flanked by scrolling foliage and panels of piastres above a rectangular seat and lunette carved seat-rail on fluted square tapering legs with stretchers; some losses; redecorated

Condition

Old marks, chips, scratches and losses to painted decoration as visible from the catalogue photograph. There are constrcution cracks at the joints and horizontal cracks generally especially through the seat. The back and two legs have been strengthened. In need of some minor touching up to the painted decoration.
