Description

  • 40cm high
painted with a qilin in a fenced garden, all above flowering and fruiting sprays and pendent plantain leaves, together with a  pair of small blue and white 'gu' vases, 19th century (8cm., 3 1/8 in.)

Condition

Large gu vase: There are some small chips around the rim. Minor glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots, burst glaze bubbles and grit adhesion. Small pair of gu vases: One gu vase has chips to the foot (1.2x0.1cm and 1.5x0.1cm respectively).
