Description

each cylindrical body moulded with meandering lotus scrolls, with later European 'kakiemon' enamelling depicting a qilin beside floral branches

Condition

One vase has restoration around the rim and the neck, with more than three-quarters of the rim oversprayed. There is a 3.5m crack to the lower body. The other vase has a 14cm multi-branched curved crack below the shoulder. There is a 1.5x0.5cm area of broken and repaired chips to the foot.
