of octagonal form, each facet painted with a panel enclosing bird and insects amongst flowering branches issuing from rocks, similarly decorated to the neck, all divided by floral scrolls, gilt-wood stand
Condition
There is extensive restoration around two-thirds of the rim and the neck. The shoulder also has a large crescent-shaped area of restoration. Overpaint is visible, and flaked in some places.
The rim has a 9x2.5cm area of restoration.
General surface scratches and glaze firing imperfections such as burst glaze bubbles and iron spots.
