Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy. Old very minor chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage. Attractive detail to carving. It's possible that there have been some replacements e.g top rails of both and possibly the right arm support on one and the left arm support on the other.The tapestry has some splits to the sky (cream areas) to the panels on the seats and the backs. Some discolouration. Needs some attention. Floral surrounds in stable condition and with good colour.
