Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Old minor restorations to the veneer, some of which is lifting slightly on the top. Attractive detail to marquetry. The leather-lined writing surface has a horizontal crack running though it and can easily be restored. The pull-out writing slide is stiff and needs easing. There is a later loper attached to the left hand escutcheon where there was formally a screw. There are some very minor sections of veneer missing along the edge of the apron and some very minor restorations generally. Legs possibly reveneered.
