modelled by J. P. Melchior, resting on a tree stump holding a satchel in his right hand, painted in pale colours highlighted in gilding, upon a rocky mound base painted with green grass, wheel mark in iron red, some restoration

there is restoration to the brim of the figures hat, the ribbons of his shoes and the strap of his satchel.
