Description

  • PORCELAIN
  • the stand: 28.5cm., 11 2/8 in. diam.
of lobed form with a shaped rim edged in brown, painted in Kakiemon style with the 'Two Quail' pattern surrounded by small flower sprigs and a formal foliate border, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed numeral 21together with a coffee pot and cover and a waste bowl, both of eight-sided form painted in the same pattern, some damage and restoration, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue,

Condition

The stand is In good condition, there are some faint scratches to the center of the stand, and some flakes to the brown enamel on the rim. The waste bowl has a rim chip. The coffeepot spout has been restored as well as the finial of the cover.
