There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are losses to the polychromy throughout; particularly to the hands, to the tip of the proper left foot and to the wings, where the polychromy to the back of the proper left wing is largely lost. There is a loss to the tip of the proper right thumb. The figure has been carved in sections, with nails and joints visible. There is naturally occurring stable splitting and fissures to the surface, and there is minor naturally occurring worming consistent with material.
