Description

  • 19cm, 7 1/2 in diameter
cast, embossed and chased in high relief with figures in a landscape fishing, hawking and wildfowling, in a border of opposing animals and strapwork, later frame with easel support

Condition

Dents and scratches, old repairs to back which are probaly part of the manufacturing process, reverse with assay scrape, very lively decoration, with late 19th century French control mark for imported silver. Rim quite thin and with a dent at 1 o'clock.
